Baking Class
Isi dalam butter cake, hias dengan buttercream (frankly speaking, i still prefer my own version of buttercream), belajar sapu cantik salutan kek, buat roses guna wafer cone, basic ruffles for borders and yang paling penting cara guna cake comb. Dah bertahun beli, lepas pi kelas ni baru la tau cara yang betul nak gunakannya.
Isi dalam ni Choc Moist Cake. Antara ilmu yang dapat ialah how to make ganache ( i really love this version, rasa berbaloi sgt pi kelas ni), teknik sapuan dan cara guna cake comb untuk buat corak yang cantik.
Hujung minggu lepas sempat pergi Sungai Buloh, attend kelas Aneka Talam oleh Chef Fauziah. Memang berbaloi coz chef tu tak lokek ilmu dan rajin melayan pelajarnya. Memang sampai berpinar mata belajar kuih talam ni antaranya Talam Keladi, Talam Suji, Talam Cendol, Talam Ubi Kayu, Pulut Seri Muka dan resepi Talam Kacang Hijau, Pandan... memang tak larat nak tulis dah.... hasilnya boleh dibawa balik. Sekarang tengah cari masa dan ketika yang sesuai nak buat latihan amali. Ye lah, kena jugak pelbagaikan skill, asyik kek je, nanti takut jemu.

resepi ambil dari tin susu cair Ideal, memang sedap. Susu cair 400ml campur 1 biji jus limau nipis (biar jadi macam yogurt) dikisar bersama 1 biji mangga ranum, gula sesedap rasa,dash of salt and ice cubes.... atas permintaan adik bongsu yang teringin nak menikmati semula minuman ni, terpaksa dicari gali semula resepi ni dalam kitab.
